The direction of myChristianConnection.org

February 24th, 2009 by Matthew

Up to this point, myChristianConnection has been a small hobby.  It has been a site that has had many mis-fortunes.  It has also been a site that has never had that direct, clear, concise path that you would like to see in a site.  In addition, the last thing you want to see from a meandering site is another ‘new direction’.  So, we are not going to come up with a new direction, rather we are going to clarify what we are currently doing and focus on  our ‘core purposes’.  Here is where I (we) would like to focus, however I really value your input and would like know what you envision for the future of myChristianConnection.org.

  1. We will focus on community, along with community integration into our site.
  2. We will focus on building our ’core purposes’, Blogging, Community (You), Insider Interviews, Member Directory, and our Member Forums.
  3. We will focus on integration, design, and YOU!

Here is where you, our viewer come into play.  What is it that you want?  What is it that you value?  What is it that needs changed?  There are several ways to share your opinion:

  1. Leave Comments, definitely encouraged.
  2. Discussion in our Member Forums
  3. Email us at Contact_Us@myChristianConnection.org (or click here).

Welcome to myChristianConnection!

We have been working hard to provide a place were Christian consumers and Christian Business professionals can meet each other to do business in the market place.  We strongly believe in networking, we believe that’s it’s better to buy goods or services from someone you know and trust.  We think it’s an even better idea to network and purchase goods and services from other members of the Body of Christ.  That’s why we are here.  We are creating a community where you can network with other Christians, research products and services, develop relationships with others, and finally connect with those who you wish to do business with.

There are several ways for you to search for people within the Body of Christ to work with.  Those ways will include the following:

  1. Your Church Body or other local Church’s.  Hopefully you find people you already know.
  2. Class mates from your College or University days.  Networking with former classmates in also a great start.
  3. Finally by City, State, or Zip Code.  This way whenever, wherever you are, you have a connection to someone in the Body of Christ.
This site is going to be developed and shaped around you.  We want to hear your comments, good or bad, we want them!  Introduce yourself, were glad your here!
