There was some debate as to which software to choose for myChristianConnection, but in the end I think this decision will be a good one. There are many more questions to be answered know that I know which software I will use. One thing I have been on the fence over is do I start with Joomla! 1.0 or Joomla! 1.5 beta. Now it may seem obvious to most people, why chose a beta version when it is not ready yet? However, I am going to be learning as I go (again) and if it takes a while then maybe 1.5 is out of beta and then I would have a head start on things, sounds good right? Well the risk is that I don’t have nearly all the tools to work with the beta version, but then again I don’t even know how to use the tools so…we shall see.
