I wanted to expound on my previous post on ads. There are a couple things that I want to clarify. There are going to be many different types of advertising going on within the site. There will be affiliate links, Google ads (ad sense), Member ads, and maybe text ads (I am not sure yet). The affiliate links are probably going to be the most profitable for the site, however they will be the most discrete, you will actually have to click on the partners link -> affiliate links -> and then the affiliate you wish to view, and that will take you to their site for you to shop. Next we have Google ads, these you will see as banners. They will be placed all over the site and will be the most prominent throughout the site. Next you will see Member ads; these will be prominently placed on the main page but will only be on the main page. These ads are placed there to give prominence to our best Members. It gives the Member a better chance of being found.

The end result is this; the ads are here to help everybody. Hopefully you will find them useful to you, especially the Member ads as well as Affiliate links. If the ads are placed properly, and the ads are for useful things/services then the really will become an asset to myChristianConnection as well as it’s members.
