Who are we (Summary)?
myChristianConnection is a place were Christians go to find Christian Business Professionals to help them with purchases, current contracts & services, or advice. myChristianConnection was founded by Matthew Parrott after seeing Christians taken advantage of.
Our vision is to do three things:
- Create a place were the Body of Christ can trust that each transaction will be done with Biblical Principals.
- Foster a safe community were the Body of Christ can help each other and hold Christian Business Professionals accountable.
- Provide sound advice from Christian Professionals (Insiders) that will Bless the Body of Christ, and save you money!
What do we do? What is there for you?
You can think of myChristianConnection as a big bulletin board in the back of your church that members go to hang their business cards on. However, you have access to myChristianConnection twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year. You can also search our site based on your city, state, zip, church, or even by the college you attended. It would be hard to create a bulletin board that could do that.

Right now we don't have a business address. Our web address is http://myChristianConnection.org, but I am sure you already knew that.
When did we start?
In January of 2007, the first website was started. I was in over my head, but that didn't matter, I was determined. Two years later, in January of 2009, two several mistakes and software versions later, we started over. This time we want your help, you thoughts and ideas on how to make it better - for you.
Why do we do it? Why should you join?
Networking is everything in today's Market Place. It's who you know that can help you find what your looking for, and make sure your not ripped off in the process. Christians need to Connect to their Christian family (the Body of Christ) in the business world. By doing so, you will save money, but you will also being doing so much more, you will also bless each other and you can trust that each transaction will be done with Christian integrity & values.
By joining myChristianConnection you will be able to find local Christian Business Professionals to help you find what your looking for. They will be there to make suggestions, alert you to over-priced add-on's, and look out for you. In return, you purchase will help support them and their families.
How do we operate? How can you contact us? How do you join?
How does myChristianConnection work? Simple. When you sign up to become a member of myChristianConnection.org you have access to our entire database of Christian business professionals. You have the option to search for those professionals in the field you are looking for by zip code, city, state, church they are currently attending, or by the college/university they attended. Once you find someone you can either e-mail or call them directly (depending on how that member has chosen to be contacted) and then you set up an appointment. It’s that easy. Once you have finished the transaction we ask that you leave feedback on that member so that we are accountable to one another. We have installed a strict three strikes and you’re out policy! That means if we get three complaints about the way a member does business (basically not abiding by Christian morals and values) or the member does not conduct himself/herself in a Christ like manor, then there membership will be terminated. We will give members the opportunity to fix any problems that there may be, they will also get the opportunity to submit a rebuttal, but our desire is that we wouldn’t have to be in that position in the first place. This is why we need your feedback.

- Once members join they have the ability to post in the forums, read Insider Interviews, and connect with Christian Business Professionals locally.
- Members are held accountable to Christian Morals and Values.
- Members are held to a strict policy of three strikes and you’re out.
Conclusion:
It’s important that each of us treat the Body of Christ the way they out to be treated. A key feature that myChristianConnection.org is able to provide is accountability. We have created a feedback system in our forums were members can go to give feedback. If a member would like to give positive feedback we want to know! If a member is less than forthright, or does not operate in a Christ like manor we want to know about it! We are the Body of Christ, its important we act like it!
myChristiancConnection is also a place to go to get questions answered about a particular product. Example, if you have a question about appliances you could get on the myChristianConnection.org forums under industry experts and ask a question about which appliance manufacturer to buy. This way the entire online community can get an opportunity to help you make an informed decision. You may even find your local appliance sales rep there!
